Responsibilities
  • Supervises the daily recovery operations of MTF Tissue Services in assigned territory.
  • Establish and maintain effective relationships and open and clear lines of communications with hospitals, healthcare professionals, local Organ Procurement Organizations, coroner/medical examiners offices, funeral directors, tissue processors, and other MTF offices.
  • Supervises the recovery staff, including recovery coordinators and per diems.
  • Responsible for overseeing training and development of recovery staff on their responsibilities in policies and procedures related to quality and safety of tissues and donor evaluation/recovery processes. Evaluates staff performance.
  • Collaborate with MTF QA Auditors and/or Analysts as described in the MTF Corporation Specifications.
  • Supervises the scheduling of all recovery staff to insure adequate coverage at all times.
  • Acts as MTF Tissue Services Safety Officer and collaborates with MTF to coordinate implementation.
  • Provides approximately 25% of monthly scheduled on-call coverage requirements as local recover coordinator, including carrying out the duties as a recovery coordinator, as needed.
  • Assigns all tasks as indicated to insure smooth recovery operation of MTF Tissue Services.
  • Assists on special projects and performs additional duties as assigned.
Qualifications Required
  • Supervisor experience in a hospital or medical facility required
  • Bachelor’s degree in related field preferred; some college required.
  • PC literacy required.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills required.
Qualifications Preferred CTBS and CEBT certifications (desired but not required.)

Responsibilities The Keuka College Division of Nursing is seeking a full-time Nursing faculty member for the RN to BSN degree completion program. Responsibilities include teaching courses in both the accelerated off-campus RN-BS program and the forthcoming Nursing Masters program.
