| Responsibilities | Our Lady of Lourdes Hospital, Camden, N.J. is seeking talented Nurse Managers, or individuals ready to assume a nursing management position, for its 2E/W Telemetry, Labor and Delivery, and 6N Medical-Surgical units. The Nurse Managers will provide the leadership to ensure that patients receive the highest quality of patient care services and that patient care staff develop into expert practitioners. The Nurse Managers will be responsible for the core nursing management functions of the unit including overseeing quality of patient care and the patient and family experience, and each Nurse Manager will also be responsible for recruiting, directing, mentoring and retaining staff; collaborating with other nurse managers, physicians and care providers, and serving as leaders in areas of nursing practice and patient care excellence. There are currently three positions available, one for 2E/W Telemetry, one for Labor and Delivery, and another for 6N Medical-Surgical. | Qualifications Required | It is preferred s/he will possess a minimum of a Bachelor’s of Science in Nursing (BSN), or have an Associate’s degree in Nursing and be currently enrolled or willing to enroll in a BSN program. S/he will possess a license (or be eligible to obtain a license) to practice nursing in the State of New Jersey. S/he will possess comprehensive clinical knowledge, strong organizational and management skills and outstanding written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills. Candidates must have a minimum of five to eight years experience as a registered nurse, preferably with a minimum of two (2) years experience in nursing management, on a unit with patient populations similar to the unit being applied for. |
