Members to vote on UAN dues pass-through

Board postpones election on previous dues proposal

The NYSNA Board of Directors decided at its June meeting to postpone the vote on a proposal to change the way NYSNA calculates member dues.

“The Board continues to believe that the dues system needs to change to ensure NYSNA’s long-term financial stability,” said NYSNA Executive Director Lola Fehr. “Postponing the vote will provide more time for information and discussion.” The Board had originally planned for the proposal to be discussed at this fall’s Convention and to be voted on in December.
