Members to vote on UAN dues pass-through

NYSNA members who belong to local bargaining units will vote in January 2007 on a “pass-through” to members of dues increases approved by the United American Nurses (UAN).

The election will be conducted by mailed ballot. The proposal to be considered:

“When the rate of the assessment payable by NYSNA to the United American Nurses (UAN) is increased, and/or additional assessments, agency shop fees, and/or service fees are added by UAN, such changes shall be added to the annual dues owed to NYSNA by a member.”
