NYSNA Legislative Advocacy

NYSNA is a strong union for RNs, fighting to protect nurses' rights, including safe, well-staffed working environments, a voice in establishing standards of care, fair salaries and benefits, to ensure members well-being.

NYSNA believes that nurses have a right to participate in decisions affecting them as employees and professionals. The NYS Nurses Association is one of the largest and oldest RN collective bargaining representatives in the country.

Join NYSNA at the CLC Labor Day Parade!

The NYC Central Labor Council continues the annual Labor Day celebration with a traditional solidarity march and parade up Fifth Avenue on Saturday, September 6. This year's parade will salute the contributions of the workers of our country and recognize and honor the work of the brave men and women of the United States Armed Forces.

Attention NYSNA RNs: there will be a nurses float this year. Join us on Saturday, September 6, at 45th St., between 5th Avenue & Vanderbilt, Manhattan, assembling at 9:00AM. Be sure to bring the kids!
